October was a month full of creativity, laughter, and fall fun at St. George's Preschool! Our students celebrated the season with a variety of hands-on activities that encouraged imagination, friendship, and a love of learning, all wrapped up in Halloween spirit.

Inside the classrooms, students got crafty with spooky and silly Halloween projects. We dissected pumpkins to see their gooey stringy insides, enjoyed spooky sensory table play, and learned all about spiders. Our young artists practiced fine motor skills while expressing their creativity through many Halloween crafts, and the results made our hallways look festive all month long!
The excitement continued with our much-anticipated annual Costume Parade. Children dressed up as their favorite characters, and families and teachers cheered them on as they paraded through the sanctuary. The students marched on to Fellowship Hall, where they trick-or-treated their way back to the classrooms.
Our playground became a pumpkin patch for the day as students set out on a playful pumpkin hunt! Each child discovered their own mini pumpkin to take home, turning a playground time into a fun event full of smiles and exploration.
We ended the month with Halloween parties in every classroom, featuring themed snacks, games, and music. It was a wonderful way for students to celebrate together, build friendships, and enjoy the magic of the season.
At St. George's Preschool, we believe that special celebrations like these help children learn, connect, and create happy memories. October was a beautiful example of how we combine fun, creativity, and community every day.
We’re already looking forward to more seasonal adventures in November! 🍁
