St George's Preschool leaned into Spring this month with an epic egg hunt, and celebrated Earth Day in style!
First, we celebrated Easter with a special snack, hunted for eggs, and made lots of bunny themed crafts. Each class curated their own Easter snack feast, with special decorations and bunny ear hats. Then, each class took turns hunting for eggs on the playground. Some were decorated with their names on it, and some were filled with fun treats from the Easter Bunny! We were also thrilled to see some of our preschool friends at St George's UMC's Breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
We had a pause over Spring Break, but were happy to get back to school in time to celebrate Earth Week! We know it’s important to be mindful of waste, animals, and climate from a young age. On Earth Day we shared seeds, embraced nature, and thought of ways to take care of our home.
Over the course of the week, we had chapel outside, made nature themed crafts, used recyclable materials to play and build, went on nature walks, and learned about the water cycle. You can check out more pictures from Earth Week on our Facebook & Instagram!
