Our Philosophy
At St. George's, we're dedicated to nurturing the whole child. We believe that learning should be an exciting, immersive experience, and that's why we've created an environment where education and play go hand in hand. Our philosophy is simple: when children are fully engaged, they're learning their best.
Preschoolers learn through directed and active play. We design daily activities to help your child learn to organize, explore, create, and imagine. We strive to inspire your child’s curiosity and creativity while supporting their overall development.

Our commitment to your child's development sets us apart. Here's what you can expect at St. George's:
Hands-On Learning: We believe in learning by doing. Your child will engage in a rich tapestry of activities, including arts and crafts, science experiments, music and movement, outdoor adventures, and more. We hold monthly in-house field trips from fire trucks to nature programs to dance performances. It's a world of exploration, imagination, and creativity.
Holistic Development: We're not just shaping young minds; we're nurturing the whole child. Physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual growth are all part of our curriculum. We supplement our regular school day curriculum with weekly Music and Movement classes and bi-monthly engagement with our home church in chapel and bible story time.
Experienced and Passionate Faculty: Each class is led by two teachers with professional training and experience in early childhood education. Every teacher completes at least 16 hours of professional development and education each year to keep their classroom curriculum and activities vibrant and effective. Our teachers are not just educators; they're mentors and friends who provide a nurturing and supportive environment for each other as well as for their students.
Safety First: We take safety seriously. Each staff member undergoes thorough background checks and is certified in CPR, First Aid, and emergency medication administration. We practice Fire, Lockdown, and Shelter-in-place drills and are constantly evaluating our safety protocols to keep our school secure. Your child's safety and well-being are our top priorities. We also practice “Safe Sanctuaries” with at least two staff members supervising children at all times.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs for children ages 2 ½ to 6 years old designed to appeal to both your child and your family life.

Our three- and four-day developmental school programs from 9:15am – 12:15pm serves children ages 2 ½ - 5 years old.

Our afterschool “Lunch & Play” continues the fun for children 3 years and older where children enjoy cooperative play in a relaxed setting.

Our Friday “STEAM Quest” where children 3 years and older enjoy a slower pace, but deeper dive into hands-on science and art projects.

Summer Camp – open to 3- to 6-year-olds to explore summer themes and activities for learning and adventure.
