Our Approach

What to Expect

Comprehensive Curriculum: Our Busy Bees enjoy a well-rounded curriculum that combines academic learning, hands-on experiences, and creative play. We aim to nurture their inquisitive minds, encourage problem-solving, and ignite a love for exploration. With our curriculum, your child will be prepared for the exciting journey of lifelong learning.

Dedicated Educators: The Busy Bees program is guided by passionate and experienced educators who understand the unique needs of preschoolers. Our teachers create a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children can grow, develop, and express their individuality. We foster a sense of security and belonging in which children can thrive.

Social and Emotional Development: At this stage, children are not only acquiring academic skills but also building essential social and emotional foundations. In the Busy Bees program, your child will learn to interact with peers, express themselves, and develop empathy. These vital skills form the cornerstone of a happy and successful academic journey.

Flexible Schedule: The Busy Bees meet from Monday to Thursday 9:15 AM to 12:15 PM, providing the perfect balance between structured learning and free time for exploration. In addition to engaging lessons and play, our Busy Bees also enjoy participation in weekly Music & Movement, monthly Chapel Time, and monthly Bible Story. Busy Bees may participate in Lunch & Play after their regular school day and STEAM Quest on Fridays. We understand the importance of flexibility in accommodating your child’s needs and your family’s schedule.

Music & Movement

The Program that Inspires Creativity and Confidence.

At St. George’s Preschool, all students benefit from singing, dancing, and playing instruments. Creativity and exploration are central to our Music and Movement curriculum. Activities focus on developing age-appropriate gross motor skills and coordination while enjoying and exploring the musical world. Students learn about music and movement through comparatives such as fast vs. slow, quiet vs. loud, and heavy vs. light. Throughout the year, students learn to use and experiment with drums, jingle bells, scarves, bean bags, claves, parachutes, balloons, egg shakers, and so much more!

STEAM Quest

For children 3 years and older – A program that Challenges and Inspires Young Minds.

At St. George’s Preschool, we know how to end the week on a high note. That’s why we offer STEAM Quest on Fridays, a special program that is fun, educational, and engaging. With a small number of students, STEAM Quest provides a memorable educational experience while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for your child.
