Summer Camp at St. George's Preschool
Summer Camp at St. George's Preschool is where we dive into the a fun-filled, educational adventure where young children engage in creative activities, games, and outdoor exploration to learn, grow, and make new friends. Our Approach
We know some students don't want the preschool year to end, and some families need options during the summer season. Our preschool summer camps occur the last two weeks of the Fairfax County school year. Students engage in crafts, structured games, and free play, all while exploring the outdoors and continuing to grow those important social skills. Camps are a great way to ease your child into a preschool routine. Since you don't have to be a current student to attend, you can invite friends to join with you too!
What to Expect
Schedule: The Summer Camp program meets from 9:15 AM to 1:15 PM. Students will bring a bag lunch from home and eat together outside, weather permitting. The first week of camp runs Tuesday-Friday the week of Memorial Day, and the second week runs Monday-Friday of the next week.
Academic Excellence: Learning is still abundant in summer camps! Students will learn through play and structured crafts and activities.
Social and Emotional Growth: Summer Camp has a wider range of ages in each group than our preschool classes, creating a new social environment in which to learn and grow.
