March was filled with fun this year at our preschool! First, we hosted Donuts with Dads, and then we had a magical leprechaun hunt in honor of St Patrick's Day.
Donuts with Dads is always a heartwarming event that brings smiles to the faces of both kids and adults alike. This special morning was all about celebrating our little ones' bonds with fathers, father figures, and other loved ones while enjoying delicious treats. This event offers a chance for parents to engage with their child's teachers, meet their fellow students, and experience the classroom atmosphere, all while sharing a tasty treat.
Our students prepared gifts and activities for the special guests, from a "Which Dad are You?" guessing game to performances and crafts. Many donuts were eaten, and much coffee was consumed. Donuts with Dads was a joyful success!
On St Patrick's Day, our students experienced the magic of a leprechaun hunt! When the students arrived at school, they found clues to the leprechaun's michevious ways, from green water in the toilets to footprints down the hall! The children crafted handmade leprechaun finders and set out to find the culprit. They followed riddles, clues, and footprints to hunt down a pot of gold - each student got a piece of the treasure, but, as always, the leprechaun was nowhere to be found ;)
The hunt not only sparked joy and creativity, but also encouraged teamwork and problem-solving. We had a great time celebrating St Patrick's Day!
