Welcome spooktacular families! We’re delighted to be joining the wider St. George’s Community for the Trunk or Treat event on October 27th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Fast approaching, this event is guaranteed to be a blend of fantastical frights and delightful treats!
Trunk or Treat is a safe, fun and community-focused alternative to trick-or-treating. Families celebrate in a parking lot with children moving from car to car, garnering goods from inventively decorated trunks. But the fun does not stop there - expect games and shared activities with fellow families, enhanced with involvement from community groups like the Boy Scouts!
Getting the Most from Trunk or Treat
It's not only about receiving but also about giving. You can join in the spirit by decorating your vehicle's trunk with a fun theme and load it with treats for the young ones. Let your creativity run wild. Just participating? Fret not, there is plenty of fun to be part of. No matter how you engage, we truly believe that it’s all about the shared laughs, the built friendships and the strengthened community spirit.
The Importance of Community Events
Beyond the fun, gatherings like Trunk or Treat underline the importance of a strong and bonded community. It's these shared moments that help shape us, that hold us together and that foster a nurturing environment for our children to grow. At St. George’s Preschool, we wish to make these experiences as fulfilling as possible for our families.
We look forward to seeing you there, ready to participate, ready to engage, and ready to continue building our wonderful St. George's community.
